Herzgrau is the first collaboration of Christian Fiesel and Marko Hupel, with a trio of darkly experimental downtempo compositions.
About the album: "Christian Fiesel (aka Fzkwolf), a musician from Trittau, northern Germany, is a formerly mostly solistic working musician, producing in the wide range between classic electronic music, experimental-avant-gardistic soundscapes and (dark) ambient sounds. Born 1965 in Hamburg he is creating his body of music in various accoustic constallations and projects. Besides his more melodic electronic chamber music with synthesizers, his current approach is more avant-garde, creating music beyond the usage of synthesizers and keyboards. No harmony or noise which can't be taken further into treatment and alienation. Some twenty complete albums are in existence. Since 2012 a series of releases has started.
Currently Marko Hupel (head of "The Nikki Grace Experience") and CF are joining forces in the cutting edge ambient/avant-garde project named "Black Oil Documents"
...and my name is Marko H. and I'm proud to work with Christian on this kind of dark species...enjoy it!" -- MH
